“Deer’s national park” is located 16kms away from Hyderabad and popularly known by name “Mahavir Harina Vanasthali” at Vanasthalipuram. The park was set up to attract more tourists to the capital city and forest department has taken up the initiate of preserving the precious heritage and at the same time to rehabilitate it. The best part of the year to visit the park is during the season of monsoon were in one can find astonishing golden as well as white flowers of different varieties of trees on the lush green carpet of grass.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park” or “KBR Park” formerly known as Chiran palace is located at jubilee hills Hyderabad, which covers an area of 1.4 sq km approximately. The park was named after former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Kasu Brahmananda Reddy. In the park, you can find animals like pangolin, small Indian civet, jungle cat, porcupines, reptiles and 30 varieties of butterflies etc. There are over 600 species of trees, shrubs, climbers, herbs, grasses, besides several pteridophytes, bryophytes ,xerophytes and 140 species of birds like the red vented bulbul, spotted dove, peacocks, robins, small bee eaters and many more.

“Mrigavani National Park” is located near chilkur, which is 25km away from Hyderabad city. The park is spread over an area of 700acres. “Nehru Zoological Park” is the largest zoo park located in Hyderabad and spread over an area of 380 acres as a recreation spot in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. The park was established in the year1959 and was declared opened to public in 1963, the name of this park was named after first prime minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru. The best part of the zoo park is that one can find more than 1500 species at one stop.
