Sanghi Temple


One among the best holy shrine for Hindus in outskirts of Hyderabad city is Sanghi Temple, it is located at Sanghi Nagar which is about 35 km from heart of the city. Sanghi Temple’s “Raja Gopuram” is about 15 feet tall and can been seen from a long distance. An individual seeking for God's infinite blessings is attracted by the temple, as it is built on top of the hill called Paramanand Giri.  Devotees are welcomed by the “Maha Dwaram” or gateway as soon as they approach the Paramanand Giri and further you can also find the stone elephant at the stairway.
At the foot of the hillock, you can see three Gopurams which are so tall and seen as if they are towering the heavens. It is believed that devotees receive blessings from Lord Anjaneya, the son of Anjana Devi, and the son of wind God, one can see shrine of these gods at the top of temple complex.

The Sanghi Temple is the host for all the idols of important Hindu Gods and was constructed in the south Indian style of architecture. The best part of the temple is the deity of Lord Venkateshwara which is 9-½ ft tall and the main entrance of the temple complex have the beautifully craved doors. Though the temple is 35 km from Hyderabad city, it became an attractive tourist spot not only for tourists but also favorite gateway for people of Hyderabad.

Inside the complex of Sanghi Temple, you can find small temples dedicated to Padmavati, Shiva, Rama, Anjaneya, Ganesha, Navagrahas, Goddess Ashtalakshimi, Durga and Kartikeya. Special leaves and flowers which are grown in Pavitra Vanam or a holy garden inside the complex of the Sanghi Temple and are used for performing poojas.  Apart from normal pujas everyday, special pujas are performed for festivals like Krishnashtami, Sri Rama Navami, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Dussera, Sivaratri, and Brahmotsavams.

Timings
The temple opens early in the morning at 5.00 am. For one hour, Suprabhatam is recited, followed by Archana to the deities from 6 am to 8 am.
General Darshan for the devotees is allowed from 8.30 am to 10.30 am and 4 pm to 6 pm.
Poojas and Sevas are held between 6 pm and 8 pm. The temple remains closed between 12 am and 4 pm and after 8 pm.
Weekly Abhishekam is performed to the deities between 8 am and 9 am - Sri Ramalingeshwara (Mondays), Sri Hanuman (Tuesdays), Sri Venkateshwara, Ashtalakshmi, Parvathi, Padmavathi and Rama (Fridays).
