“Lumbini Park” is another scenic park located adjacent to Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad and geographically is in the heart of the city. It spreads over 7.5 acres of land and has a wonderful lake within the park. This park was constructed in the year 1994 and was the part of Buddha Poornima project under taken by Hyderabad Urban Development Authority. As the park lies just opposite to monolithic Buddha statue, it was named after the birthplace of Buddha. It has its unique features for amusement that are best suit for all age groups and with seasonal flowering plants, pebbles and large trees becomes the ideal place to relax and relieve your stress.

“Lumbini Park” also comes as a recue for tourists, which facilitate them with various tourist attractions like colorful floral clock, fountains and waterfall. The best part of the park are its dancing fountains and water cascade for which separate shows are organized every day at 6:30 p.m and 8:00 p.m. to attract huge crowds. People visiting the park can also avail and enjoy the boating facilities provided close to Hussain Sagar Lake. The park is open on all days except on Monday.
