Hussain Sagar Lake
Hazarat Hussian Shah Wali who belongs to Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah Dynasty was renowned great emperor,thus lake was named after him as “Hussian Sagar”. The lake spreads over an area of 24kilometers at the tributary of river Musi to meet irrigation needs of the city.

Osman Sagar Lake
“Osman Sagar Lake” is associated with the name of the place known as ‘Gandipet’ and located at the same place of Hyderabad. “Osman Sagar Lake” spreads over an area of 46 square km. This water body came in to existence by constructing of a dam on the river Musi in 1920 by Mir Osman Ali Khan.

Himayat Sagar Lake
“Himayat Sagar” is one of the beautiful lakes present in Hyderabad and is located 20km away from Hyderabad. “Himayat Sagar Lake” lies parallel to another lake Osman Sagar.

Durgam Cheruvu
“Durgam Cheruvu” is located near Hi-Tech city of Hyderabad and popularly known as secret lake. History reveals that this park served as a drinking water source to Golconda fort.

Shamirpet Lake
“Shamirpet Lake” is one of the artificial lakes present in Hyderabad and is at the northern side of the Secunderbad. It’s an ideal place to have picnic were in one can find hill slopes and a deer park with several species of deer at the beginning of the lake.

Lotus Pond
“Lotus pond” is situated in Banjara hills, Hyderabad covering an area of 1.2km.sq in the heart of the city. This beautiful pond was initially conceived as an Eco-conservation project and lush green trees bound over 11 acres within the premises.
