Health/Science Museum

The “Health Museum” is located near Public Gardens, Hyderabad and started in the year 1948. As you get into the museum, you can find the words of Jawaharlal Nehru at the entrance of the museum. The “Health Museum” is divided into two separate sections that consist of two large halls. One has to visit the great hall that is associated to nutrition and health to experience the change. Here you can find information about various types of the illness that include cancer, malaria, leprosy, anatomy, immunization and TB. The other hall is completely dedicated to Motherhood and childbirth. |

Visiting hours of “Health Museum” are from 11 am in the morning to 1 pm in the afternoon and from 2pm to 6 pm in the evening during the summers. In winters, the Health Museum opens at 10 am and closes at 5 pm in the evening with a break of 1 hour from 1 pm to 2 pm. |
