Asman Garh Palace

Asman Garh palace is located in the city of Hyderabad and still stands as one of the great historical monument left by our ancestors as symbol of their culture and traditions of ancient India. Sir Osman Jah who belonged to paigah family was the prime minister of the erstwhile Hyderabad state from 1887 to 1894 built it near malakpet. This palace was built with granite turrets and arches windows, which gives a picturesque view of the city from the hilltop.

Since the palace is located so high on a hillock, the name "Asman Garh" perfectly suits for the palace as title has two different meaning in it, one is Asman for Sky and other one Garh for home. The palace presently is converted into a school (St Joseph's Public School, Asman Garh Palace branch).

The best time to visit this palace is from the month of October to March. To know more about the historical monuments in India do visit Asman Garh of Hyderabad.
